WARWICK — The Amity Foundation for Healing with Horses’ Board of Directors were in the ring with their horses, learning the value of cooperation and communication and having a great time in the process. It was all in an effort to better understand one of the most valuable programs the not-for-profit offers – team building.

All proceeds support therapeutic healing for anyone who has experienced trauma, including veterans, abuse victims, and more.
The Amity Foundation for Healing with Horses is holding its third annual Kentucky Derby Day Party on Saturday, May 4th from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It will be an opportunity to learn more about how our horses can assist people who have experienced trauma as they heal from its often-debilitating effects.
In addition to attending, which we hope you do, we are seeking sponsorship for this event.

Co-Founders of the Amity Foundation for Healing with Horses, a Warwick-based 501C3 not-for- profit serving veterans and others who have experienced the debilitating effects of trauma, were overwhelmed when they received a $4000 donation to their cause from Shoprite at the Warwick Shoprite’s Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, October 7th.

Applause Levin, who resides at the Amity Foundation for Healing with Horses, has been lured out of semi-retirement and back into a white shirt and tie to head up the Foundation’s “Help a Horse Help a Human” fundraising campaign. The goal of the campaign is to raise a significant amount of money so that Applause and his fellow horses can continue to help people who have experienced trauma recognize its debilitating effects and address those effects in a safe, supportive environment.
We can help neighbors recover from trauma if we can count on help from you!
